Over the last nine years I have been using PHP to build websites for companies across the UK and the US. I got my start working on Edinburgh University's student newspaper, and went from there to freelance web development.

Since 2006 my work has mainly been with Drupal, an open source content management system. As well as building Drupal websites I am an active member in the Drupal community, notably organizing the most recent Drupal Camp in New York. I have contributed several Drupal modules, and am a maintainer on others.

In 2009 I started working for Sony Music in New York as a Drupal developer, where I built sites for artists on their record labels using Drupal. I then worked as principal engineer for Zagat, helping to migrate their website over to Drupal. I now work on the Google Local team.

I am on the board of directors at Green Map System, an environmental non-profit that works with communities around the world to help them map green living.

Away from the keyboard I'm an avid cyclist, whisky lover and rock climber.
